Hey look, it’s me!

Hi there. Thanks for visiting my site and clicking on the section dedicated to all things me.

I started my career in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia in the advertising department of a big box electronics retailer. Unable (or unwilling) to deal with one more headline like “Labor Day VCR Blowout!!!”, I enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University’s AdCenter (now Brandcenter).

After graduating, I took an entry-level copywriting job in Boston. Two years later, I ventured to the Great White North for “a year, maybe two.” Twenty-something years later, I’m still happily in Toronto with a Canadian wife and three Canadian kids along for the ride.

I’ve worked on and run a range of client accounts across many categories including global brands like Mercedes-Benz, Ikea, Dove, Holiday Inn, Visa, Nissan, Gatorade, Goldfish, Bell, and Tim Hortons.

Along the way, my work has been featured on CNN, BBC, Sports Illustrated, Fast Company, Huffington Post, CBS, USA Today, ESPN, and CBC. Additionally, it’s garnered notice at many national and international award shows.

I’m a fan of movies, TV, video games, sports, podcasts, pizza, and list-making (if the previous few paragraphs haven’t made that abundantly clear).

I’ve also written three screenplays, all of which are in their rightful place at the bottom of an old footlocker in my garage.
